Good news! Existence of Castro dynasty denied by Fidel’s son!

Oh, thank God!

Now all Cubans can breathe a sigh of relief.

One of Fidel Castro’s sons has denied rumors that his family intends to stay in power indefinitely.

Aaah.  Yes.  Whew!  Now we can all relax, especially since we know how the DNA of the Castro lineage makes it impossible for any of them to lie.

Whew!  What a bonus, this truthful revelation, especially after finding out from King Raul that there are absolutely no political prisoners in his realm.

Alejandro Castro Soto del Valle, a son of Fidel Castro, assured the public today in an interview on Univision that his family is not a dynasty and that as soon as his uncle Raul steps down from his throne in 2018, the reins of government will not pass to any member of his family.

«My family will not inherit power; instead it will go to people who are prepared to handle it,” said Alex Castro.  Born in 1963, in Havana, Alex Castro is his father’s personal photographer, and, as he affirmed in his Univision interview, he has no political aspirations.

Alex Castro also said that his father, the Maximum Leader of the Revolution,  is “in very good health” and that he dedicates his time to things he was not able to do for a very long time, such as “studying and sharpening his mind.”  In addition, Alex Castro stated that the reason his father stays out of the limelight and the news media is that he is “a retiree.”
