Michael Aastrup, member of the Danish Parliament and member of the Liberal Party that European country visited the national headquarters of the Ladies in White movement, located in the Havana neighborhood Lawton in the city on October 10.
The Kingdom of Denmark in which parliament Aastrup figure, integrates the European Union. It is the oldest monarchy in the world, having existed for at least a millennium. Denmark is a constitutional monarchy since 1849, when it was abolished absolute monarchy that had ruled the country since 1660. He became a parliamentary monarchy in 1901. It is a state of law, the respect for the law and the right of each subject, they are more than institutionalized.
The Aastrup parliamentary entered the national headquarters of the Movement Ladies in White (MDB) at noon on Saturday, September 24, his unexpected presence allowed me to see at least two patrol cars of the so - called National Revolutionary Police (PNR) stationed outside the headquarters. Notwithstanding this, he managed to enter it and sustain a lively dialogue with the Ladies in White were present at the time.
Visibility, recognition and awards achieved by our Damas de Blanco, joined complaints and promoting the brutality exercised by the Castro military regime has won precisely motivated this parliamentary euro to see for yourself, these assertions to through direct contact and the testimony of our brave women in white.
Berta Soler Fernandez, Maria Cristina Labrada, Daysy Artiles, Aliuska Gómez, Yamilé Garro, among others present, related their personal and shared odysseys and although this is only my perception, outrage and amazement in this honest politician felt, hearing these testimonies and view photos and footage at your disposal for your host.
The questions formulated were extensive and detailed answered and is likely and almost certain, it became clear to the visitor that standardization and alleged economic openings hear so much about, they have not benefited the people walk and just get deliver oxygen to the dictatorship that oppresses them and parasitic ruling political claque.
Mr. Aastrup showed surprise that the official press and even the foreign press not make adequate coverage on the vicissitudes of repression by acting political opponent citizen and only some independent media and journalists, will deal with these matters.
To conclude, it is good to make it clear that it would be very positive that this visit be repeated and that some new representation of the European Union or the United States itself, this is done on a Sunday among those to come, to be witnesses of the barbarism and cruelty which is repressed in Cuba citizens ' rights, such as gender - based violence against women and other niceties and informed about the totalitarian military regime, dynastic and non - aligned Castro family clan is exercised.
